چکیده

The paper analyzes the influence of soil type and its agrochemical characteristics on morphological productive parameters different yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.) populations. At 8 locations following fertility were analyzed: pH (H2 O), (KCl), CaCO3 (%), humus total N available P2 O5 K2 O (mg 100 g-1 soil). From parameters, measured: plant height, number leaves, diameter head, from fresh above-ground masses per plant, seeds yield hectare harvest index analyzed. Among quality seeds, germination energy, weight 1,000 examined. largest heads (13.6), a (1.9 cm) seed (386.0 kg ha-1) had population location Pančevo (Am1). In this variant, with highest energy (48.8%) (53.4%) obtained. in locality was second place (15,604.0 ha-1). hectare, obtained variant Am5 (location Starčevo "rit"). lowest values weakest found plants originating soils less natural located urban areas.

Effect of drought and salinity tensions on germination and seedling growth of Common Yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.) in laboratory conditions

A major problem of arid and semi-arid regions is environmental stresses like salinity and drought. To study the effect of Artichoke germination under different levels of salinity and drought, two separate experiments were performed. The experimental treatments included different salinity levels of NaCl (0, 50, 100, 150 mM) and five drought levels by PEG (0, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%) with three rep...
